Welcome to my teaching studio!

I offer private guitar and drum lessons to students of any age, ability, developmental level, temperament, and experience and welcome those with learning issues. I strive to provide highly personalized lessons to keep students engaged and—most importantly—to make learning, playing, and reading music fun.

I recognize that my students are interested in a wide variety of musical genres, so I try to meet them where their passions lie. If your favorite song is not already in my repertoire, I’ll learn it. My lessons cover music theory, song form, and music history in a fun, relaxed, nonjudgmental setting that seeks to cultivate the joy of learning to play music. 

I offer lessons at my studio in Silver Spring near 4 Corners, in your home, or via Zoom from 9am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. My Silver Spring studio is fully equipped with two complete drum sets, a variety of acoustic and electric guitars, electric and acoustic bass guitars, amps, mics, and a comfortable sitting area for parents who wish to observe a lesson. Pat Clark Music follows all local, state, and federal regulations related to COVID-19.
