Performing

I have 19 years of experience as a performer playing drums, lead and rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and alto and tenor saxophone, as well as singing lead and background vocals. In addition, I have a bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies.

I have played in more than a dozen bands in scores of venues in MD, DC, VA, and DE. I am currently the drummer for the Neo-Soul band, Sunstrider; the rubboard player for Corey Arceneaux and the Zydeco Hot Peppers; the drummer for the Dime Slots, an 80’s retro band; and the drummer for the Brian Farley Band. I was a percussionist for the Elvis Costello and Tom Petty Band House Gigs shows. Previous bands include Late as Usual (drummer and lead/backup vocals); and Terri and the Back Alley Rhythm Cats (drummer). As a teen, I played at an Obama Inauguration Ball, a fundraiser for Jamie Raskin’s first run for Maryland State Senate,  and a host of other parties and events. 

I would welcome the opportunity to audition for your band or event and am willing to travel. I'm also available to perform solo as guitarist/vocalist for weddings, bar mitzvahs, and other events.
